Oompah

My Godson Zach plays in his high school's band. He plays the baritone. In the fall, it is the OCHS Marching Band. This time of year he plays in the OCHS Concert Band. He had his spring performance tonight. Although each band has its own tempo, I definitely prefer the marching band. The pace is so much faster and the beat is definitely livelier. For some reason, it seems that the marching band members are so much more surer of themselves than the concert band group. The marching band plays so much louder and with such gusto. However, I don't want to take anything away from tonight's performance because they were very good. There was plenty of toe-tapping going on. The school held a reception afterwards so that parents, students and visitors could mingle. What a wonderful evening!
