Name Tags

This afternoon I worked on name tag prototypes for our guild's quilt show. I made four different ones. I will do the background work and another gal will do the names. Even though our quilt show isn't until October, the committees are already in full swing. Planning is everything.

Tonight was quilt guild. We had a wonderful speaker. She spoke about quilter's challenging themselves. She told us how she loves to enter contests because it makes her stretch herself creatively within certain boundaries. She has talent, there is no question. Her quilts were awesome! It takes more than just a creative notion however. She does unbelieveable free motion quilting. All of her creations are original works. She finds an idea and runs with it, from the choice of thread to the patterns in the quilting. It is all tied together with a consistant flow of elements. And that my friends, makes a great quilt!
