Murder Mystery

Tonight was our potluck night at Gilda's Club. We have three students who are working on degrees that lead the entertainment for the evening. Tonight's entertainment was a murder mystery. There were 8 characters. I was one of them. I was an author who lived next door to the murder victim and was at the ball where he was killed. My husband Jack was a gator wrestler, he was the murder victims daughters boyfriend. The scene was set in New Orleans, in a mansion, during a ball. It is loosely based on the CLUE game where you have to figure out who did it, what the motive was, etc. It was fun listening to people read their dialogue with southern accents. And of course, you always have at least one ham in the crowd. It was a lot of fun. We went around the room and had to guess who we thought did it. Jack and another woman from the group named the correct killer. Their prizes? Why mystery novels of course!
