Quilt Guild Meeting

Tonight was our quilt guild's monthly meeting. Our speaker was Nancy Kimpel, a quilt artist from New Berlin. Nancy does these absolutely gorgeous pictorials. See had an entire series depicting the skyline of some of Milwaukee's most famous buildings. She captured their true essence in fabric, from cream city bricks to stained glass windows. She hand dyes some of her fabrics and paints on others to get just the right colors and textures. Her pictorials are so realistic, you feel like you are there. What a great artist!
